A diagnosis here and a diagnosis there...

...here a diagnosis, there a diagnosis, everywhere a diagnosis.

Such it has become in many an adoption circle.

The 'cult' has everyone believing that if a child is adopted, he/she more than likely has a disorder which requires a diagnosis, a specialist, a drug or intense psychotherapy.

"Almost without exception, all cultic belief systems manifest a type of institutional dogmatism and pronounced intolerance for any position but their own."  Ravi Zacharias

I have included links to two MP3 articles.  One speaks of a new disorder called "Intermittent Explosive Disorder" and the other concerning the lies of Inner Healing.

Why this blog?

To raise awareness.

Expose lies.

Speak out for those who have no voice.

&

Exhort families to "do their research" and examine their motives.

I will also use this blog to link articles which address the above concerns.  And share my heart as an adoptive mother who lives in a country which has played into a lie and turned international adoption into a commodity.

The title of this blog?

Adoption has become a movement that in extreme instances, mimics a religious cult, whereby "veneration and devotion is directed at a particular object {adoption}."

I have not intentions of "ruffling feathers," although the truth often does just that.
